A man who is wanted in Spain for killing two high-ranking members of a Scottish organized criminal group in a Spanish bar has made an appearance in an English court.
Spanish police have charged 44-year-old Michael Riley with killing 43-year-old Ross Monaghan and 46-year-old Eddie Lyons Jr. on May 31 at Monaghans Bar in Fuengirola.
Mr. Riley used a videolink from HMP Wandsworth to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London.
Later this year, a complete extradition hearing is anticipated.
Mr. Riley has yet to face charges and has not had a chance to address the accusations leveled against him by the Spanish National Police.
