On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin informed Iran’s foreign minister that Moscow was attempting to assist the Iranian people and that there was no reason why the United States should bomb his nation.
Two days after US President Donald Trump ordered US bomber bombers to attack Iran’s three primary nuclear installations, Putin welcomed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Moscow.
In televised remarks, Putin warned Araghchi, “The completely unprovoked aggression against Iran has no basis and no justification.”
He went on to say, “We are working to help the Iranian people.”
“I’m delighted you’re in Moscow today; it will allow us to talk about all these important matters and come up with a plan to escape the current predicament.”
