Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started operating flights to Gulf nations again after the formal declaration of a ceasefire in the Persian Gulf, reestablishing connection that had been interrupted by regional tensions.
The national flag carrier has resumed flights to Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Dubai from a number of Pakistani cities, a PIA official said. Following the significant flight cancellations brought on by the Middle East’s rising conflict, this represents the normalization of air transport.
According to the spokeswoman, “flight operations for Gulf countries are now moving towards full restoration.”
