In a statement released on Wednesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah’s burial prayer was said at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi.
The burial was attended by the Interior Minister, senior serving military officers, civil authorities, soldiers, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Major Muiz Abbas Shah fought and defied the attackers with extraordinary valor, according to Field Marshal Asim Munir, who paid respect to the martyr.
During an operation against the Khawarij insurgents in South Waziristan, Major Muiz Abbas Shah was martyred.
In order to protect Pakistan’s security and sovereignty, he made the ultimate sacrifice, which the country honors.
