During his official visit to China, National Security Advisor Lt Gen Muhammad Asim Malik attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Security Council Secretaries’ meeting.
Lt Gen Asim Malik, the head of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), reiterated Pakistan’s strong position on the significance of world peace, stability, and security in the changing international environment at the session.
He emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing dedication to contributing positively to the advancement of regional peace and security.
Significant discussions between the national security adviser and the Chinese leadership were also held, during which both parties decided to improve bilateral ties and further solidify security cooperation.
