Sana Mir, the former captain of the Pakistani women’s team, received congratulations from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday for her “historic” entrance into the International Cricket Council (ICC) Hall of Fame.
Details indicate that Mir phoned the premier. The former Pakistan women’s captain’s skill was recognized on this occasion by PM Shehbaz, who said, “Under your leadership, the Pakistan women’s team had clinched significant achievements and made the entire nation proud.”
The prime hoped Mir would make use of her experience by actively contributing to the growth of the fresh talent.
In every sport, PM Shehbaz has pledged to promote meritocracy. He continued, “The government is looking to provide equal opportunity to both men and women in all the sports.”
