As part of a plea agreement to avoid the death penalty, a 30-year-old man has admitted to killing four roommates in a small college town in Idaho in 2022.
In August, Bryan Kohberger, a PhD candidate in criminology, was scheduled to go on trial for the shocking attacks.
Judge Steven Hippler recited the agreement’s terms during a hearing on Wednesday, noting that Kohberger gave up his right to file an appeal or request leniency.
