In an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement on Friday, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that the friendship between Pakistan and China has remained strong and steadfast despite changing geopolitical dynamics.
The army commander made these comments at the 98th founding anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China, which was attended by senior Chinese and Pakistani military officials at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, according to the military’s media wing.
Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, was the ceremony’s main guest, according to ISPR.
