Oasis, according to the Black Keys, has “transformed the continent.”
The rock duo’s members, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, performed at Manchester’s Sounds of the City festival last month, two days prior to Oasis’s inaugural homecoming performance at Heaton Park.
“The atmosphere was electric,” Dan said in an interview with The Sun newspaper on the Wonderwall hitmakers’ performance. Our audience was really interested in it.
“They seem to have changed the continent. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen,” he continued.
Dan also went to the Oasis Adidas store while the Wild Child rockers were in Manchester. “I had a black soccer jersey manufactured with the words AUERBACH on the back and Oasis on the front. They’re the monarchs, dude, you had to do it,” he remarked.
