When it comes to their expectations of Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal, critics of the actress appear to be suffering greatly.
Branding expert Doug Eldridge has given a comment about it.
“While it looks like a negative downgrade on first pass, that’s akin to reading only headlines versus the fine print,” he told Fox News Digital.
For those who don’t know, the “downgrade” he’s talking about is the couple’s numbers being silent.
To put it another way, Harry and Meghan continue to work on a number of other creative initiatives for Netflix in addition to their growing partnership with the As Ever lifestyle brand. He clarified that the latter will be a source of income for all parties, which is challenging to establish (much less maintain) around conventional reality television.
