Even before the premiere of her lifestyle Netflix series, Meghan Markle caused a stir when she announced that her contract with the streaming behemoth had been renewed.
Broadcaster Eamonn Holmes took aim at the show, which will make a comeback to Netflix on August 26, when speaking on GB News.
Holmes rejected the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series as unimportant and not deserving of much consideration.
“The second season trailer has been released by Netflix,” Ellie Costello, the show’s host, stated.
To this, Holmes responded, “Why do you read this as if it’s actually serious news? Your woman, Meghan Markle, is making a cooking programme that no one has ever watched.
