ISLAMABAD: To discuss bilateral relations, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Professor Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser, on Sunday.
According to the Foreign Office, the two presidents talked about a number of topics during the meeting, such as fostering youth connections, improving regional connectivity, reviving historical ties between the two nations, bolstering trade and economic cooperation, and strengthening bilateral ties.
Recent regional events and opportunities for wider regional cooperation were also covered by both leaders.
Dar greeted the temporary leader of Bangladesh with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s congratulations and informed him about his activities in Dhaka and the results of his visit.
He conveyed gratitude for the Bangladeshi side’s gracious hospitality and first-rate arrangements throughout the visit.
