As part of a targeted operation against militants, the district administration has enforced a curfew in 24 areas in Bajaur district’s Mamond tehsil.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department authorized the curfew, which will be in force from 5 p.m. on August 16 to 5 p.m. on August 21, according to a notification published by The News on Sunday.
Authorities are advising citizens to stay home and assist security forces at this time, since all outdoor activities and public movement are completely forbidden.
Malangi, Suparai, Dwaogai, Meena Sulemankhel, Khwar Chai, Chamyar Jor, Agra, Ghandai, Zari, Nakhtar, Mula Killay, Bakaro, Gowati, Chamyalon, Larkalan, Barkalan, Ghanam Shah, Chotra, Damma Dola, Sultan Baig, Inam Khworo, and Naga are among the places covered by Section 144.
