Barrister Ali Zafar, the new chairman nominee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated that while the offer of the top position was a huge honour for him, his conscience urged him to focus on the cases against the party’s leadership.
Zafar told News’ Pakistan: “Gohar Ali was playing his role properly. “He should continue.”
He also stated that they will consult on the name of the party leader, and that they would reconsider the choice for the party’s top position.
Zafar further stated that the PTI founder proposed his name, but they had to discuss on it.
