According to the Welsh government, the £4 million agreement would guarantee that Bad Wolf, a Cardiff-based firm, shoots and produces four to nine productions in Wales by March 2027.
According to the government, Bad Wolf is required to spend a minimum of £60 million in Wales during the course of the four-year agreement.
The investment is expected to yield a 15:1 return, according to the company’s own estimates.
The company also produces His Dark Materials, A Discovery of Witches, and I Hate Suzie.
The agreement would “strengthen Wales’s reputation as a first-class filming location,” according to deputy culture minister Dawn Bowden.
“The industry is a stand-out success with global reach that is helping young people plan ambitious futures in Wales.”
