An analyst claims that Prince Andrew makes a power move during the Windsor Castle mourning service.
Andrew strolled with a grin on his face after Prince William pulled out of the service for personal reasons.
Judi James, a royal expert, describes Andrew’s ‘dominant’ body language as follows: “Walking in the front line with Anne’s husband Tim, Andrew appears to have placed himself in the role of royal sheepdog, walking ahead and slightly to the side while glancing back to ensure everyone is keeping up and being herded into the church.” He even walks backwards at one point to observe the others as they welcome their host by the door.
“His strong and dramatic hand gesticulation is another power technique that world leaders utilize to convey control and authority.
This sense of communicated authority is heightened when Andrew is seen speaking with the clergyman in full regalia who is welcoming them, standing up close and personal and even grasping the man by the upper arm.
They went on to say, “Andrew even gives the bishop a casual power pat as he walks away, which is a strange gesture of superiority that few people would make on a priest like him.
