Social media platforms Facebook and Instagram are apparently down around the world.
Downdetector.pk, a real-time internet and social media outage monitoring website, reported the global outage of Meta-owned social sites around 8:16pm.
Instagram users were unable to view content on the picture-sharing network because the phrase “Something went wrong” showed every time they attempted to visit the site.
