Princess Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, has published a video message in which she addressed the Restoration of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence Survivors’ Rights Conference in Ukraine.
The royal family published Princess Sophie’s video message on its official X, formerly Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
Sophie says, “Survivors here and around the world have spoken out so courageously about their experiences. They are the most effective advocates, reminding us all that we must not ignore the atrocities of this atrocity and never forget the survivors.
“Rather, we must stand shoulder to shoulder with all survivors to seek justice and comprehensive recompense, as well as to guarantee that this crime is not recognized as a normal aspect of conflict. Their rights and voices must be heard.
