Leading US Jewish politician Chuck Schumer warns Benjamin Netanyahu and asks for an election in Israel.

Israel has long been a favorite of Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer, who stated on the Senate floor that Mr. Netanyahu’s administration “no longer fits the needs” of the nation and that its citizens “are being stifled right now by a governing vision that is stuck in the past.”

During his 45-minute speech, the leading Democrat declared: “We should let the chips fall where they may. Israel has the right to pick its own leaders as a democracy. However, it’s crucial that Israelis have an option.”
