The country’s plains are set to see extreme heat today, with temperatures expected to be two to four degrees above average, according to the Meteorological Department’s forecast. But different places will have different weather with varying chances of rain.
Rainfall is anticipated in the northern areas, which include Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Upper Punjab. It is predicted that Islamabad will see partly overcast sky with some showers.
It is also expected to rain in the evening in Umarkot, Badin, Tharparkar, and Mirpurkhas. Khuzdar, Lasbela, and Awaran, which are located further south, may see rain later in the evening or night.
