According to official sources on Wednesday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have obtained cutting-edge anti-drone equipment to combat aerial terrorism threats.
The device significantly improves the province’s counterterrorism and security capabilities by allowing security forces to identify and destroy hostile drones from a great distance.
According to sources, the anti-drone technology will be used to safeguard important government structures, well-known people, and significant public gatherings.
Officials claim that militant groups have attacked locations in portions of southern KP and North Waziristan using drones.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) confirmed the development, stating that the force is being outfitted with cutting-edge weapons and surveillance equipment to improve operational readiness.
