The country star, who headlined the Tailgate N’ Tallboys country music festival in Michigan late last month, was about to perform his next song in front of a packed house when he observed a young woman near the stage.
“First of all, there’s a young lady right here in the front of the crowd,” he said in a TikTok video posted by a fan. The singer swiftly switched his attention to finding his photographer, hoping to catch the poignant moment.

Jelly Roll, real name Jason Bradley DeFord, has come a long way since his drug-related stints in rehab and prison. He recently revealed that he is a cancer survivor, which he apparently learned from a fan. Despite his obvious success, giving back has contributed significantly to his happiness. The singer visits locations across the country to perform songs, distribute food, and “do a little encouraging.”
