PESHAWAR: According to a new investigation, between 2016 and April 2025, Accountant General Offices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) made unauthorized and excessive payments of Rs16.54 billion from the same Public Works head, G10113, according to The News.
The Controller General of Accounts (CGA) has ordered an immediate investigation into what appears to be one of the biggest financial embezzlements in the history of the province, with a total suspected sum of Rs56.54 billion.
