After the popularity of her album Brat, Charli XCX thinks her next album will “flop.”
The Von Dutch singer said that she doesn’t feel “pressured” to make additional hits, but she doesn’t think her new song would be as successful as Brat’s.
In reality, I was doing it for me. I had no idea that others would find it so relatable. Charli XCX told Culted, “You can never really do the same thing twice, so I don’t feel the pressure.”
“I’m willing to accept the fact that my next record will likely be a failure,” she said bluntly.
Following her recent admission that she finds it “really hard to let go of” Brat, the Speed Drive hitmaker made this statement.
