Mohsin Habib Warraich, the most reliable mouthpiece for former Pakistani intelligence chief Lt General (rted) Faiz Hameed, left Pakistan for London in order to avoid being investigated for the former powerful general’s military trial by his own institution on charges of corruption and misuse of power.

The former MNA and federal minister of defense production, Major (retd) Habibullah Warraich, is the father of Mohsin Habib Warraich. The main character in the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) fraud, which has cost over Rs2 billion, is Mohsin. After ensuring his safety and security from the government and legal authorities, General Faiz returned him to Pakistan in 2010, after he had spent several years living in exile in London.
