Comparing the first quarter of 2024–2025 to the same period in the previous year, the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation–Customs Lahore has outperformed itself in terms of enforcement and anti-smuggling accomplishments.
Director Tayyeba Kayani has overseen the Customs Intelligence unit, which has carried out 31 seizure cases valued at Rs 1,518.4 million, a 200 percent increase over the previous year.
21.140 kg of heroin, 658,139 kg of dry fruits, 72,220 electrical gadgets, and other valuables are among the notable items seized.
In addition, 17.140 kg of heroin and other contraband valued at Rs 387.6 million were retrieved as a result of cooperative operations with law enforcement.
