According to authorities and witnesses, an Israeli bombing on a school that housed displaced Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Saturday resulted in multiple Palestinian deaths and injuries, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
“By attacking a school in Al-Nusairat that provided refuge to displaced locals, the (Israeli) occupation carried out a horrific atrocity against civilians. The targeting resulted in 16 martyrs and 50 injuries at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, according to a statement from the Gaza Health Ministry.
Anadolu was earlier informed by the Gaza civil defense that “more than 10 martyrs, including dismembered bodies,” were killed in the attack on the al-Jaouni school.
Eyewitnesses informed Anadolu that several bodies and injured were taken to the Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah.
