An important step in the project was reached when a document signing ceremony for the technical acceptance of the New Gwadar International Airport was held close to Karachi Airport.
Project leaders from the China Airport Construction Group Company and the Pakistan Airport Authority signed the agreement.
Along with important representatives from both organizations, Engineer Faizullah Ording Khan also signed the document. DG Airports Authority, Air Force Marshal Taimur Iqbal, and Deputy DG Sadiqur Rehman were present at the event.
In recognition of their efforts to the project, DG Taimur Iqbal gave diplomas and appreciation shields to important members of the Chinese project team during the ceremony.
It is anticipated that the New Gwadar International Airport will be essential to improving connectivity and stimulating regional economic growth.
