Prices increased by 5.5% in urban regions and 5.8% in rural areas, according to information that appeared on Wednesday. From July to September, the rate of inflation was 4.22 percent.
A number of necessities saw price increases as a result of flooding.
Wheat prices soared by 38% last month, while tomato prices increased by Rs 65 per kilogram. It increased the price of vegetables by 9%, onions by 28%, and flour by 34%.
