Pakistani gold prices rose on Tuesday, mirroring the increase in global rates, following a drop in the previous session. The price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,600 on the local market, to Rs285,000.
Similarly, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,372 and is currently selling for Rs244,342.
The price of gold fell Rs900 on Monday, finishing at Rs283,400.
Tuesday also saw a rise in gold prices on the global market. According to APGJSA, the rate increased by $16 for the day to $2,755 per ounce (with a $20 premium).
The price of silver stayed at Rs3,350 per tola.
