Saudi Arabia has banned the commercial use of religious and sectarian symbols, national emblems, and logos in order to guard against their exploitation or abuse.
The Kingdom’s commitment to preserving the sacredness of these symbols is demonstrated by the decision, which was made public by Commerce Minister Dr. Majed Al Qasabi.
Businesses are prohibited from utilizing national, religious, or sectarian symbols in their goods, advertisements, or other business-related endeavors under the new rule.
Enforcement of this legislation will start 90 days after the decision is published in the official gazette, and anyone who break it will be subject to fines under Saudi Arabia’s municipal punishing laws. Businesses are supposed to have time to adjust to the new rules during this grace period.
