The amount of usable water storage in Pakistan’s water reservoirs has increased by 180,000 acre-feet, bringing the total to 26.53 million acre-feet. This boost coincides with a noticeable increase in river inputs.
Tarbela Dam: 902,000 acre-feet of water were stored at a water level of 1,444.30 feet.
The Mangla Dam holds 1,235,000 acre-feet of water at a level of 1,137 feet.
Chashma Barrage: 85,000 cusecs outflow, 99,100 cusec inflow.
Chenab River (Head Marala): 28,300 cusecs for inflow and 19,100 cusecs for outflow.
The inflow and outflow of the Kabul River (Nowshera) occur at 37,000 cusecs.
