Mason Gooding recently praised Neve Campbell, the franchise’s icon, and hinted at his potential return to the Scream universe.
The 28-year-old actor made a reference to his upcoming part as Chad Meeks-Martin opposite Jasmin Savoy Brown in Scream 7 while promoting his new film Heart Eyes on Entertainment Tonight.
“As it relates to myself, the casting of Jasmin Savoy Brown was unknowingly basically being granted a sister,” he stated.
“I check in with her all the time,” the Aftermath star continued. Being able to inhabit a character who has been surrounded by so much love, both on set and off, has, in my opinion, enabled Jasmine and I to settle into a very comfortable rhythm.
