ISLAMABAD According to sources on Wednesday, disgruntled members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly have chosen to write to Imran Khan, the founder of the party, accusing him of “making decisions against the party interests” in a letter to Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the party’s chairman.
Sources told News that the PTI leaders, including Member of National Assembly Amjad Khan, have expressed reservations over Barrister Gohar’s parliamentary affairs.
They stated that the PTI chairman had opposed a measure that MNA Amjad had proposed to the NA standing committee that would have provided free health facilities.
According to reports, the lawmaker later tried to get the resolution approved by the Punjab and KP assemblies. He also discussed the bill with the PML-N leadership and first lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.
