The true cupid in Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s romance has finally come to light.
In a recent joint interview with Interview Magazine, the adored couple disclosed that Mandy Teefey, Gomez’s mother, was the true matchmaker in their romance.
According to Gomez and Blanco, Teefey introduced them when the singer and actress was about 16 or 17.
Blanco remembered that the purpose of the meeting was to talk about music because Gomez was just starting her career in music, and he was already starting to get popularity.
And we released our debut song in 2013 or whatever. We had a meeting arranged by her mother. She wasn’t yet a singer when I rose to fame,” Blanco remarked.
