RAWALPINDI: According to the military’s media arm, security forces killed at least 30 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in the South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Tuesday.
“On 17 February 2025, security forces conducted an operation in general area Sararogha of South Waziristan District on the reported presence of Khwarij,” according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
It claimed that 30 terrorists were killed as a result of the security forces’ successful engagement of the terrorists’ location during the operation.
The ISPR stated that security forces were committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the nation and that a “sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.”
