KARACHI: Ahead of their ICC Champions Trophy opener against Pakistan in Karachi, New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tom Latham gave an update on all-rounder Rachin Ravindra’s recuperation from a head injury and voiced confidence in his team’s readiness and flexibility.
Ravindra, who suffered a “nasty injury,” will practice later in the evening as the club evaluates his availability, Latham said during a press conference on Tuesday.
We’ll have a better idea of how Rajin is doing after his training tonight. He’s recovering nicely, but since it was a head injury, we just need to make sure everything is okay. We’ll wait and watch while he goes through the procedures,” Latham stated.
