JEDDAH: Five Pakistani Umrah pilgrims, including three ladies, lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Saudi Arabia. The pilgrims were returning from a visit to the historic site of Badr on their way to Madina when their bus collided.
Initial reports state that the majority of the pilgrims in the bus and the deceased were from the Bahawalnagar district. The fatalities were an old man named Manzoor Hussain from 39/3-R, two women from Dahran Wala, and Rukhsana and Amina Bibi from 228/9-R, Fort Abbas.
Numerous additional people were hurt in the crash and were sent to different Madina hospitals to receive treatment.
