The recent incident in Pahalgam, a hill town in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which killed 26 tourists, including a navy officer, has raised doubts among defense specialists who believe it may have been a planned false flag operation by India.
The shooting in the Pahalgam area’s Baisaran valley on Tuesday also left at least 17 people wounded. According to police, among the dead were one Nepalese national and twenty-five Indians.
It broke the relative peace in Kashmir, where tourism has increased as an anti-Indian insurgency has decreased in recent years, and was the biggest attack on civilians in India since the 2008 Mumbai killings.
