Women in Pakistan have taken on leadership roles in recent years, starting audacious tech-driven companies in industries like digital markets and e-learning. Through their work, these women in ICT are not only breaking stereotypes in a field that has historically been perceived as a man’s realm, but they are also addressing difficult social challenges, such as healthcare access and educational inequalities.
Their accomplishments coincide with the annual International Girls in ICT Day celebration in April. The 2025 subject, “Girls in ICT for inclusive digital transformation,” focuses on ensuring that women, particularly those from marginalized groups, have fair and equitable access to technology.
To commemorate the event, tv spoke with women who are actively contributing to the efforts of others to address the most important problems facing society.
