SLAMABAD: In response to India’s abrupt announcement that the Indus Water Treaty would be put on hold in the wake of the Pahalgam attack, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), stated that New Delhi’s recent unilateral actions would cause it to become isolated both at home and abroad.
“Such actions were not taken, even during times of war. The former foreign minister stated, “What India is doing now is unprecedented and shows it is not interested in combating terrorism but rather exploiting it for political gain,” during his appearance on Geo News’ “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath” program on Friday.
