The world should be “worried” about the possibility of a full-scale confrontation between the two nuclear-armed countries, according to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, who has called attention to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
In an interview with British Sky News, the minister issued a warning that tensions with India over a fatal shooting in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK) could turn into a full-scale conflict.
The warning comes after a devastating gun incident in the IIOJK that left 26 tourists dead at a picturesque spot in the Pahalgam region. One Nepali national was among the victims.
