ISLAMABAD According to aviation sources on Friday, Pakistan has blocked Indian airlines’ access to its airspace, forcing long-haul planes headed for India to refuel in other nations as tensions between the neighboring countries rise in the wake of the Pahalgam incident.
A day ago, at 6 p.m., Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian planes. Numerous flights have already been affected by the stoppage.
According to the sources, a flight from Sharjah to Amritsar was diverted before crossing into Pakistani airspace close to Turbat.
