San Francisco: In an attempt to compete with ChatGPT, social networking giant Meta released its first stand-alone AI assistant app on Tuesday, providing users with a direct link to its generative AI models.
“A billion people are using Meta AI across our apps now, so we made a new standalone Meta AI app for you to check out,” Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Meta, stated in an Instagram video.
According to Zuckerberg, the app “is designed to be your personal AI” and would be accessed mainly through voice talks, with each user’s interactions being unique.
