According to Eva Longoria, Marc Cherry, the creator of Desperate Housewives, is adamantly opposing a relaunch including the same cast.
When asked who would require the most persuasion to join a revival project during an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Eva said, “Marc Cherry, our creator.”
According to Longoria, “he feels like we’ve exhausted the characters.” It’s not like Sex and the City, which only had about six or eight episodes annually. For ten years, we produced twenty-four episodes annually.
Regarding Wisteria Lane, she said, “I can’t sleep with any more people on that street.” I’ve slept with everyone on the street, for example. “And so did Nicolette Sheridan,” she said.
