Following the purported false flag operation in Pahalgam, there has been a reported increase in anti-Muslim hate campaigns and violence throughout India.
Sources claim that Hindu radicals are increasingly threatening and physically attacking Muslims in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand, with BJP members openly supporting hate speech directed at the minority.
According to reports, the goal of spreading hate speech is to defend acts of violence against Muslims. A Muslim man was killed in one unsettling event in Agra, and the perpetrator claimed it was “revenge” for the Pahalgam attack. At least 21 incidents of violence, threats, and hate speech against Muslims have been reported in India since April 22.
