Because of the current security situation, Cambridge International Education (CIE) and the British Council have canceled all tests that were scheduled for Friday, May 9, in Punjab province, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, and the Islamabad Capital Territory.
Students at Cambridge Direct and British Council schools will be impacted by the decision in their O Level, IGCSE, and International AS & A Level exams.
They stated that they will “update schools by the evening of Sunday, May 11” regarding exams scheduled for Monday, but that this only applied to exams on Friday, May 9.
Exams in other regions of Pakistan are still scheduled for May 9 “if the security situation remains unchanged,” according to officials, but any updates will be communicated.
