Barry Keoghan has talked candidly about his mother’s death and his addiction.
The 32-year-old Irish actor discussed his childhood and disclosed that his mother died of heroin addiction in an interview with Hollywood Authentic. He continued by saying that he was unable to stop using drugs even after witnessing the death of his mother and the birth of his son Brando 2.
“I’m no longer in denial,” Keoghan declared. I am aware that I am an addict and that I do have an addiction. You know, you can eventually move on and learn to cope with it if you accept that.
“I lost my mother to the same thing that killed my father. I lost a cousin and two uncles to drug use.
