TEHRAN: Reiterating that Pakistan wanted peace and stability in South Asia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Monday that his country was willing to negotiate with India for the benefit of regional harmony.
“We desire peace… At a joint news conference in Tehran with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the premier declared, “We are prepared to participate in dialogue for the resolution of all disputes, including the issue of Kashmir.”
As part of his four-nation trip of friendly nations, the premier landed in Tehran after his visit to Turkiye, where he aimed to thank Pakistan for its support during the recent war against India.
