LAHORE: In order to handle the extra surge of passengers during Eid ul Adha, Pakistan Railways (PR) Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi chose to operate five Eid special trains from the province capital and other locations.
A news release on Monday stated that the railways minister had taken this action at Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s request.
On June 2, at 1pm, the first special train will leave Karachi Cantt railway station and arrive in Lahore at 10am the next day.
On June 3, the second special train would leave Quetta at 10 a.m. and arrive in Peshawar Cantt at 10:30 p.m.
